Updated: May 25, 2018
The prestigious Pessoa prize is given each year to a leading Portuguese figure with a particularly relevant and innovative work in the fields of art, literature or science.
This is the third time an architect is awarded with Pessoa Prize, being the two others Eduardo Souto de Moura (1998) and João Carrilho da Graça (2008).
The Juri considered as very relevant the project for the EDP foundation in Lisbon. Internationally were referred the New Pôle Muséal of Lausanne (Switzerland) and the Centre de Création Contemporaine Olivier Debré in Tour (France).
An initiative of Jornal Expresso, sponsored by Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
